"BUIT" is a contemporary artistic installation composed of eight multilayer plexiglass pieces that explore the dimensions of emptiness in human experience. The project materializes abstract concepts—emotional, sensorial, spiritual, creative, physical, identity-related, social, and existential emptiness. The project was developed over nine months (July 2024 – April 2025) with a total dedication of 132.9 hours, ranging from initial conceptualization to the final exhibition. The methodology included theoretical research on representations of emptiness in science, philosophy, and art, material experimentation with prototypes, and technical development of mounting and lighting systems. The work proposes a visual paradox: making the invisible visible, materializing absence as tangible presence. Unlike approaches that seek to fill emptiness, "BUIT" legitimizes it as an essential space of possibility and contemplation, responding to contemporary issues such as social isolation, crises of meaning, and the stimular saturation of the digital era. The exhibition in Sant Julià de Lòria, Andorra, conceptually amplifies the project by presenting it in a territory that defines its identity at the margins between larger cultural identities, establishing a dialogue between physical geography and the internal landscapes of human emptiness.
